About Gerard Yates

Gerard Yates This gallery is dedicated to my husband Gerard T Yates.

Jerry died October 27, 2007 from lung cancer. He was an amazing and extremely talented filmmaker, cameraman, photographer, painter, sculptor, musician and committed his entire life to creating art.

Jerry had an amazing eye for composition and could see things that would go unnoticed by most people. He was the master of his tool, and truly believed that no shot was by chance or luck - it was always skill, talent and the ability to take advantage of everything that surrounded him.

I have been asked to share Jerry's photographs by friends and family and I know that he would be thrilled and honored by the interest of so many people.

Hopefully everyone that visits this gallery will enjoy Jerry's work and by purchasing his photographs will help keep the spirit of his art alive along with the memory of a truly talented and wonderful individual. A portion of all sales will go to lung cancer research.

Best Wishes,
Trilby Yates
